Hofner 483 model 1959.

Spruce top, solid maple sides, and maple and mahogany laminate for the back. The neck is made of three-piece maple, with a rosewood fingerboard.

It has the binding of five lines. The mark under the bridge and corresponds to the years 1958-62.

The bronze frets have been reconditioned, and are like new, round, polished and unmarked. 62 cms scale. Strung with 0.11 of silk and bronze. It has numerous marks and taps on the varnish.

It has been revised and completely restored. And it is fully operational, working well and very comfortable to play.

It has a bump-scratch on the back, this only affects aesthetically since it has been consolidated and is firm, without affecting the sound or the integrity of the instrument.

It has been completely restored and adjusted for proper operation. It sounds good, and it's comfortable to play.

"A spruce top with laminated flame maple for the back & sides. The finish was brown all over, but with the back and sides highly polished, and the top matt finish. Celluloid binding (multiple) around the body top and soundhole. This guitar was the same as the 483 Model below, except for the different finish to the body top and possibly the 482 may have had white body binding "
