Vincenzo Miroglio & Filli" (Catania 1935)
Vincenzo Miroglio e Filli was founded in 1920, and was producing guitars and mandolins by hand until 1960, under the name Catania-Sicilia.
The top is made of spruce, and the reinforcements are ladder-braced.

The instrument is made of solid wood. The back is laminated with maple between two pieces of mahogany.
Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with bronze frets, which are in good condition, and have been reconditioned.
The neck is built in three pieces. The nut is made of bone. It has a 0 fret and a 62.5 cm scale.
The headstock is very old, but it works perfectly. It has a rosewood and bone bridge, with a bridge and tailpiece, similar to a mandolin.
The guitar appears to have been refinished; it looks quite thin. The back and sides are painted black.
The guitar is fully restored, with no cracks or major repairs. It is strung with nylon, although it could also be strung with silk and steel, Italian style.
It is solid, with a straight neck and comfortable to play, it tunes well, without problems and has a deep, bell-like sound, with great projection.
