Hofner 4550 model (1961)
 It's a very large guitar, 17" (43 cm at the hips). Built in Germany in 1961.
 Built with a curly maple and laminated mahogany top, rosewood fingerboard, binding, and ebony bridge. 64.5 cm scale length.
 It's finished in a light tobacco sunburst varnish. The varnish is in pretty good condition; it has some scratches typical of a guitar of its age, but it's the original and retains its integrity and much of its shine.
 It has some dents and scratches, but no cracks or major repairs.
 The alpaca frets are the original ones, refurbished, and allow for comfortable playing with a very low string height and without fret buzz or hum. > 2 mm for the first string at the 12th fret.
 It is strung with 80/20 bronze strings, 0.12 thickness.
 It has been fully serviced, is in very good condition and fully operational!
