Parlor guitar "Elitaria" (1925)
These guitars with metal tailpieces and adjustable bridges were very popular in the 1920s. They are marked "Elitaria" on the soundboard and also on the tailpiece under the bridge. Made in Germany.
These are parlor guitars with meticulous attention to detail and materials, with the added benefit of adjustable bridge height and tuning. They play and tune just like any other guitar.
In the 1920s, Hawaiian music became fashionable worldwide, and its music and instruments spread throughout the world. In fact, these instruments were called "Hawaiian guitars."
It's 100% solid wood. Spruce top, one-piece maple back and sides, rosewood fingerboard with nickel silver frets, and a floating metal bridge adjustable in height and tuning.
Shellac-coated. It has a bone nut with a 0 fret.
It features beautiful craftsmanship, crafted with mother-of-pearl and ebony on the soundhole. It has been fully restored with great attention to detail, maintaining the varnish and original structure.
And although some imperfections and scratches are visible, it's in very good condition. Not only aesthetically, but it's also ready to play comfortably and perfectly in tune.
