Framus Texan 5/196 1972 (solid top)

Dremann-type guitar, built in Bavaria in the late 1960s.
It has a solid spruce top, solid maple sides and a laminated maple and mahogany back.

Multi-layer maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and very wide frets, in perfect condition.
The internal reinforcements are in the form of a modified X in the Framus style.

The top is excellent, with the "bear claw" style grain much appreciated for its good sound.
It is in very good condition and perfect to play, it has some small bumps and superficial scratches that are barely noticeable.
It has been fully serviced and adjusted, works perfectly with no frets or buzzes, with a very comfortable action and good tuning.
The sound is somewhat sweeter and deeper than other models. It is a rare model.
