Framus cateyes "Manouche" (1950s)
This is a very rare, German-built, parlor-sized, flat-top guitar with all solid woods.

The top is made of spruce, and the bracing is longitudinal in parallel, like archtop and manouche guitars, and transverse in the back.

The back is flat, made of two symmetrical pieces of solid maple. The sides are also solid maple.
Flat ebony fingerboard (no radius) with nickel silver frets, which are in good condition and have been reconditioned.
The neck is a two-piece construction. The nut is bone, with a 0 fret and a 61 cm scale.
The headstock works perfectly. It has a varnished maple bridge, with one fret up, and a manouche-style bridge and tailpiece.
The guitar is firm and solid, well adjusted, without fret buzz or buzzing and very comfortable to play, with about 2 mm on the 12th fret for the 1st string.

The varnish is quite cracked, but it is still a great instrument with a very good sound and beautiful timbre.
The guitar is fully restored, with a barely visible crack in the back, and has been professionally made with a full warranty.

It is strung with silk and 0.11 steel.
